I’ll be out of town coaching my Olympic Weightlifting team in a Contest on Saturday, Feb. 2nd. So there will be no class that day. No worries. I’ll give you your “homework” on Thursday!

New Cardio-Strength Training Class
Tuesday, December 11th, 2007I’m offering a new Functional Fitness-Training Class that is designed to maximize your strength, cardiovascular fitness, and your time. It is based on the concept of Functional Fitness, or Fitness you can use. No silly “boshu-ball” workouts, no hours toiled away on the treadmill. Instead you will use weights and bodyweight exercises in a way that mimics interval training and sprints: High intensity; quick workouts; heart pounding effort; maximal results.
You don’t have to compete in a sport to look and feel like an athlete.
These are group sessions for 2 to 6 people at a time, Thursday night at 6 pm, and Saturday at Noon. (I’m currently workout out another time during the week, probably Tuesday night). By doing this as a class or group training session, the cost will be FAR cheaper than individual training, and will have the added bonus of a communal support system. Training buddies are great motivation!
